Flowers by BluHead Studio is a distinctive display family that brings clean geometry and character variation to contemporary design. The collection consists of three carefully drawn typefaces: Petal, Bud, and Thorn, each refined in two weights. Petal functions as a lean, approachable sanserif with gently rounded terminals, while Bud introduces an unusual inverted triangle serif that adds formal weight without sacrificing elegance. Thorn takes this further with sharp, pointed serifs that feel decidedly architectural. Since all three share the same proportions and character shapes, it's natural to mix them for layered typographic work and visual hierarchy.

Despite being built for display use, these fonts read cleanly at smaller sizes too, making them surprisingly versatile for both headlines and extended text runs. Extended language support across Western European character sets and practical OpenType features including ligatures add real capability. Consider luxury skincare packaging, upscale boutique identity systems, editorial spreads for print magazines, and sophisticated menu designs for fine dining restaurants.
