1 / 8About Dom Casual BT Font
Dom was designed by Peter Dombrezian for American Type Founders in 1951–52. It is an informal, unjoined script typeface that resembles brush lettering. The letters are almost monotone and drawn in a free and casual style. Vertical strokes have irregular endings at varying heights, and the ovals have slightly different slants, adding to its organic charm.
This typeface is versatile, lending a warm and approachable feel suitable for a wide range of applications. It excels in creating inviting signage, engaging advertisements, and charming invitations.
The Cyrillic version of the Bitstream digital font Dom was developed by Dmitry Kirsanov for Paratype in 2008.
