You're designing a vintage concert poster or retro album cover, and you need a typeface with authentic 1970s character. Churchward Design, created by BluHead Studio, nails that retro-funk energy. It's a contemporary take on the geometric, playful aesthetic from early seventies typography, reimagined for designers who want that nostalgic look without just copying historical typefaces.

The full family spans 76 separate fonts, ranging from clean, readable text weights through to experimental display styles including the distinctive Mystic Shadow and Design Lines variants. Each brings its own character while keeping that playful quirkiness intact. This scale of variety makes it genuinely useful across multiple project types: retro-themed food packaging, vintage band merchandise labels, artisanal product branding, and eye-catching event posters all benefit from different fonts within the family. You can match the tone precisely to what you're building rather than settling for one-size-fits-all.

The extended character set covers numerous western and central European languages, so international projects are covered. Both proportional and tabular figures are included for flexible typesetting whether you need them. The lighter weights maintain readability at large display sizes, while the experimental styles add personality and movement to headers and decorative areas.
