Velo Pro channels the stripped-down geometry of 1990s nightclub culture, where letterforms were built on linear construction that cut away everything unnecessary. Designed by SoftMaker, this display typeface captures that era's direct approach to typography: clarity over decoration, form following function with absolute commitment. The result feels genuinely rooted in the period rather than a surface-level pastiche of it.

The font excels on event posters, rave flyers, and music festival branding where retro credibility matters more than polish. Its linear character works beautifully for vinyl record sleeves, underground magazine headers, and late-night venue signage. Club promotion materials, film festival programs, and alternative publication layouts all benefit from its no-nonsense presence. Even at smaller sizes, the letterforms maintain legibility in both display headlines and body copy for zine-style projects.

Velo Pro serves designers and artists working on nightclub promotions, alternative graphics, and projects that need genuine 1990s visual language at their core. Retro brand identities, contemporary spins on 90s aesthetics, or authentic period pieces all benefit from its directness and visual confidence.
