Twist by Superfried is an experimental retro display typeface that bends and contorts letterforms into something distinctly playful. Originally designed in 2015 and now remastered for 2025, it brings that off-kilter, deliberate chaos that catches the eye without feeling random. The letterforms twist back on themselves, creating ambiguous shapes that feel both intentional and spontaneous, like someone with wild ideas and a steady hand. With 266 glyphs and refined spacing in this latest version, you've got plenty of character variety to work with.

This works beautifully for retro band posters, indie album artwork, vintage-inspired sticker designs, and craft brewery labels where you want personality to burst off the page. The letterforms are distinctive enough to carry headlines and bold enough to do the heavy lifting in packaging, yet they still feel approachable rather than cold. Use it when you're building a nostalgic or alternative brand identity that refuses to play it safe or blend into the crowd.

Twist brings that specific energy of mid-century experimental design without feeling derivative or overly trendy. Grab it on Creative Fabrica and start exploring what happens when you let letterforms get a little weird.
