Toastie springs from a vintage film typeface once known as Flair 312, fully reimagined by designers Stiggy & Sands as a contemporary display workhorse. Its letterforms carry distinctly retro warmth that somehow reads both nostalgic and current, with generous proportions that command real attention at display sizes. The expansion from a sparse original character set to a comprehensive production typeface was deliberate, and you can feel it. Nearly 600 glyphs form its backbone, including small capitals, extensive international language support, and a rich OpenType feature set.

This typeface ships with practical tools built for precision work. Tabular and proportional figure sets let you lock numerals into tight alignment, while full superiors and inferiors handle complex fractions with ease. Stylistic alternates on the lowercase r give you control over tone and personality. These aren't just cosmetic choices, they're built for designers who need fine-grained control.

Use Toastie for vintage-inspired brand identity, editorial layouts, greeting card suites, restaurant menus, retro product packaging, and motion graphics projects where its animated nature really shines. It's the rare typeface that bridges nostalgic warmth and genuine production-ready capability. Find it on Creative Fabrica.
