Picture yourself designing a wedding invitation suite: you need something with personality and hand-drawn warmth, but it has to stay readable even when the text gets small. Takeaway, designed by Fenotype, hits that mark perfectly. It's built with three weights plus a companion ornament set, giving you real flexibility across different projects without sacrificing that sketchy, organic character.

This typeface shines in contexts where warmth beats polish. Think packaging labels for artisan coffee roasters, personalized greeting cards, boutique skincare branding, or custom wood signs for small shops and studios. The Light weight especially holds up at smaller sizes thanks to clean underlying forms that keep the hand-drawn character intact and legible.

Takeaway is loaded with OpenType features that let you customize the look on the fly. Toggle contextual alternates and standard ligatures on for fluid text, or activate swash and titling alternates when you need more expressive character work. The capitals handle both conventional all-caps setting and more decorative swash caps for striking initials. Pair it with Takeaway Extras (sketchy icons, flourishes, and decorative swashes) to build cohesive branding systems. Find it on Creative Fabrica.
