Surimi, from JCfonts, catches the eye with its deliberately low crossbars and integrated character alternates throughout the family. This condensed display typeface works equally well for commanding headlines or as a considered, substantial part of brand identity design. Six weights give you the flexibility to control voice and visual weight across different layouts and scales. Whether setting type for titles or full branding applications, you have enough variation built in to support your visual concept.

The depth emerges from the alternate character sets. You get unicase versions of A, E, W, and Y through the first stylistic set, plus separate options for lowercase g and l, plus an extra W variation when needed. Proportional and tabular figures work alongside Western European diacritical support, creating a typeface that responds to what you actually need to set rather than forcing you toward compromise.

Use it for band logos and record sleeve design, fashion brand marks, editorial mastheads, and vintage-style posters where letterforms drive the entire visual concept. Magazine covers, album artwork, identity systems, boutique product packaging, and independent publication design all strengthen with this family's flexibility. Get Surimi on Creative Fabrica to access the complete collection and unlock those stylistic variations.
