Imagine laying out a high-end fashion magazine spread where the headline needs to command attention without screaming. That's where Soft Press from Canada Type comes in. This rounded, approachable typeface is the gentler sibling to Press Gothic, developed over a decade ago for a global publisher and already proven across hundreds of magazine covers and book jackets.

The design trades sharp angles for generous curves, making it ideal for luxury branding campaigns, editorial layouts that demand sophistication, boutique product packaging, and greeting card suites where warmth matters as much as impact. It reads equally strong at headline sizes or pulled down for subheadings. Beyond the standard uppercase and lowercase, Soft Press includes small caps and biform/unicase shapes that let you dial the personality up or down depending on the mood. Language support extends across Greek, Cyrillic, Turkish, Baltic, Central and Eastern European languages, plus Celtic and Esperanto, so international projects aren't an afterthought.

The Pro version consolidates all three fonts into one OpenType file with built-in kerning intelligence, small caps activation, and stylistic alternates for those biform options. It's a solid all-in-one tool for anyone who needs versatility with polish. Grab Soft Press on Creative Fabrica and you've got a typeface that delivers presence without pretension.
