This typeface hits hard with angular, sculptural energy. Slash comes from Superfried, a 2011 creation that's been refined and remastered for 2025 with sharper spacing and more polished letterforms. Built entirely in capitals, it uses incised lines to carve out curves within solid shapes, giving each character a mechanical yet organic feel that stops viewers in their tracks.

The real power lies in its flexibility and depth. Three distinct versions let you swap between Display, Outline, and Offset styles, and within each one you can toggle between angled or straight incisions to completely shift the mood and character. This adaptability makes it genuinely useful for band logos and album artwork, high-impact event posters, industrial product branding, fashion lookbooks and campaigns, and custom merchandise where you need visual punch without prettiness. Each version plays well alongside the others, so you can layer and combine them for extra texture and dimension across a single design.

Pair Slash with a geometric sans like DIN or a clean humanist typeface for body copy, and you'll create a visual contrast that feels intentional and balanced. Find it on Creative Fabrica and experiment with how those incisions read at different sizes and applications across your projects.
