Milligan by Greater Albion Typefounders is a boisterous display Roman that bounces off the page with infectious energy and real character. Named as a tribute to Spike Milligan's comic genius, this typeface captures that same playful irreverence and anarchic spirit, making it perfect for any project that refuses to whisper when it could shout.

The letterforms sit at a nice balance between classic Roman proportions and deliberate exaggeration, giving them punch without sacrificing readability. This works brilliantly for graphic novel covers, vintage-style carnival and circus posters, children's picture books, and retro concert or festival flyers where you actually want the audience to feel like the design is having fun with them. The weight carries well across different sizes, staying readable whether you're using it large for a headline or smaller for supporting text, and it never apologizes for being bold.

Unlike typefaces that try to please everyone equally, Milligan has genuine personality and won't fade into the background. It's the kind of face that reminds viewers that functional design doesn't have to be boring or formal. If you want a display typeface with real warmth and a sense of humor that respects the viewer's intelligence, grab Milligan from Creative Fabrica.
