Harlan by Pukka De is a colorful display font built for playful, graphic-forward work. The design brings cartoon-style energy and retro warmth to children's book cover lettering, educational poster graphics, and playful sticker design collections. Each letter carries expressive detail without sacrificing readability, making it a solid choice for illustrators and designers who need strong personality baked into the letterforms themselves.

This font performs strongly for DIY craft projects aimed at kids, classroom wall signage, and illustrated product packaging where a lighter aesthetic simply doesn't fit the brief. Anyone creating colorful educational worksheets, game graphics, or school newsletter headers will appreciate how the characters respond to both color and scale changes without losing character. The cartoon influences throughout the character set make Harlan a natural companion to hand-drawn elements and graphic icons you might layer beneath or around the text. Its style works best when paired with bold color choices and illustration-driven layouts rather than minimalist or neutral settings. The design prioritizes visual warmth and character, finding its ideal groove in projects where approachability and playfulness matter to your audience.
