You're laying out a luxury candle brand identity, and you need a typeface that reads as both refined and approachable. Nayana, designed by Pukka De, is a slab serif built on deliberate contrasts. The font pairs chunky vertical strokes with spare, angled serifs that feel sketched rather than rigid. Its uppercase letters sit on a slight forward tilt, creating movement and energy without appearing chaotic, while the lowercase remains steady and legible even at small text sizes.

This makes Nayana particularly well suited for high-end product labels, editorial headers in indie magazines, custom wedding invitation suites, and artisan skincare packaging that needs personality without sacrificing polish. The full character set gives you room to play with accents and alternates beyond the basics. When you set it large on a cover, it holds its presence with confidence. Small on a label, it still registers as deliberate and craft-forward, which is the mark of a typeface worth keeping in your rotation. Nayana doesn't shout; it simply speaks with intention.
