Frost captures the loose, confident energy of 1950s hand lettering and sign painting, but refined for modern design work. Designed by Fenotype, this connected script family brings the warmth of vintage brushwork to contemporary layouts without veering into pure nostalgia. The flowing letters connect naturally, guided by automatic ligatures that make longer text read as one continuous, unbroken gesture rather than separate, disconnected pieces.

The typeface comes in three weights and includes a full set of ornaments, banners, and matching caps and small caps, giving you real control over hierarchy and visual layering. What gives Frost its character is the depth of alternative characters: each basic letter includes at least three variations you can access through standard OpenType features or your glyph palette. That means you get a custom, hand-painted feeling without the manual swapping usually involved.

This script shines in projects that demand personality and genuine polish. Wedding invitation suites, boutique skincare and cosmetics packaging, restaurant menu covers, and hand-lettered storefront signage all benefit from what Frost offers. Use it anywhere a relaxed, confident script with vintage roots will strengthen and enhance your design work. Grab the complete family on Creative Fabrica for the best value on the full feature set.
