Franklin Gothic Pro hits with the kind of directness that stops you in your tracks, making it impossible to ignore. Designed by SoftMaker as a thoughtful redrawing of a twentieth-century classic, this display face carries the uncompromising weight and presence that made its ancestor a standard in newspapers and advertising agencies across generations.

The typeface commands attention at large sizes and doesn't apologize for the space it takes. You'd reach for it when designing vintage-inspired editorial covers, bold logo marks that need to assert real authority, newspaper mastheads that demand immediate readability, or dramatic poster campaigns where visual impact matters more than subtlety. Its structural clarity translates across formats and mediums. The heavy letterforms and compact spacing give every letter genuine presence, from headlines to standalone wordmarks. This particular weight class stands apart from the lighter sans-serifs that dominate contemporary design, offering something that feels rooted and substantial.

Pair Franklin Gothic Pro with a neutral, lighter sans-serif like Inter or Roboto for body text to keep layouts breathing and properly balanced. You'll have a system that feels both authoritative and grounded. Finding a display face with this personality and durability ready to use is straightforward on Creative Fabrica.
