Picture a 1970s nightclub marquee or a vintage arcade entrance: FLASHBACK by ArtyType is built for that kind of moment. This display typeface grew from experimenting with bold cubic geometry, where the negative spaces between strokes become as important as the letterforms themselves. ArtyType tested countless shape variations to find which ones could work within this geometric constraint, ultimately settling on three distinct weights that hit that sweet spot between retro boldness and readable presence.

You'll find FLASHBACK shining on speakeasy event posters, retro cosmetics packaging, vinyl record label designs, and craft beer labels where that 1970s visual punch reads instantly from across a room. The cubic construction means each letter has a solid, blocky presence that commands attention, while the geometric negative spaces give it character and personality that generic sans-serifs simply can't match. This balance between form and empty space works beautifully whenever you're reaching for a nostalgic or retro aesthetic.

The three weights give you range: from bold headlines to slightly lighter use if you're setting longer display text. Pick it up on Creative Fabrica when you need that retro energy with real geometric intention behind it.
