Enamel by AE Type Inc. is a bold, condensed inline sans that brings genuine retro-modern edge to display work across both print and digital applications. The design customizes and rebuilds geometric letterforms around a characteristic monolinear inlay, creating real depth and visual interest without unnecessary ornament or visual noise. The unified inline version functions as one complete, functional style for straightforward work, while the two separate layers remain available independently for ambitious multicolor experiments and stacked-type effects that open up creative possibilities well beyond standard single-color application.

This typeface works effectively in two distinct design modes, each suited to different creative contexts and visual objectives. Layer everything together for vintage band merchandise, craft brewery bottle labels, boutique cosmetics packaging, or any work that needs that authentic lettering-art reference and hand-crafted aesthetic. Separate the forms for sharp, experimental work in movie poster design, tattoo lettering, architectural signage, or editorial spreads where the geometric construction becomes the primary visual storyteller rather than a supporting element. The condensed proportions keep text efficient and economical while the weight ensures it commands attention and presence regardless of display scale or viewing distance.
