You're designing arcade cabinet artwork or a sci-fi book cover and you need letterforms that look deliberate rather than trapped in nostalgia. Vector, designed by AE Type Inc., bridges that gap by taking inspiration from 1979 video game interfaces and completely reimagining them for modern layouts. This geometric display typeface presents pure rectangular logic without any retro pastiche. It works beautifully on electronic music packaging, arcade-themed posters, bold magazine headlines, and tech startup branding where you need geometry to carry the design weight alone.

The typeface operates on strict angles and clean proportions that feel almost architectural in their precision. Every letterform has been carefully balanced to command attention at large sizes, where its geometric purity becomes your main asset rather than a stylistic afterthought. The uniform stroke weight means it reads like structured code translated into typography, giving you both a retro flavor and something that feels genuinely contemporary. This is the rare display font that works equally well for vintage-inspired work and forward-thinking design systems.

The full character set handles standard typography needs, and the mathematical consistency lets it pair well with complementary geometric typefaces. Get Vector on Creative Fabrica and start building layouts that actually feel intentional.
