DRIVER GOTHIC PRO by Canada Type is a display typeface built on the official lettering used on Ontario's license plates, carrying that same utilitarian authority found across the 22 US states that adopted nearly identical designs for their vehicle registration tags. The typeface brings a distinctly official and slightly retro sensibility to any project where you need genuine impact and credibility. It excels for vintage automotive posters, authentic government signage, retro film and TV title sequences, and industrial product packaging that trades on that authoritative, bureaucratic aesthetic.

This is a workhorse font with serious range. The character set includes over 750 glyphs covering Central and Eastern European languages, Greek, Cyrillic, Esperanto, Turkish, Baltic, and Celtic (Welsh) scripts, so language limitations won't hold you back. The OpenType version gives you class-based kerning and stylistic alternates that let you fine-tune the look for your specific applications. That technical depth means Driver Gothic works across headline sizes and smaller text, maintaining precise spacing where it counts.

The font's authenticity is its real draw. It doesn't feel designed or trendy at all, just solid and built to last. Grab Driver Gothic Pro on Creative Fabrica to add this straightforward, plate-inspired typeface to your toolkit.
