Dalek by K-Type is a distressed display face rooted in 1960s sci-fi aesthetics, pulling visual language from classic Daleks lettering and the vintage typography featured in TV21 comic strips. This typeface carries strong influences from ancient alphabets (Greek, Phoenician, and Runic letterforms) that give it an otherworldly, slightly alien quality few contemporary fonts can match. Real character runs through the design, a sense of history baked in from the start.

Regular, Heavy, and Light weights are available, each with carefully designed italic versions that maintain optical balance. Full Latin Extended-A support means solid international character coverage. Look to this distressed texture for retro sci-fi book covers, band merchandise and album artwork, graphic novel and comic book lettering, and vintage-styled poster designs. The worn, aged quality lends even fresh work a palpable sense of history and intentionality, making it ideal for designers who want their typography to carry real weight and narrative depth. If you're drawn to 1960s futurism or simply need type that commands genuine attention with personality and flair, Dalek delivers both the visual impact and the technical foundation to get results.
