1 / 3About Cassette Font
Cassette is a typeface which resulted from a custom type experiment for a guitar pedal, which was then expanded into the entire alphanumeric set. The typeface started as a simple fill typeface. But it really comes alive in the lowercase alternates, with the consistent lines holding your line of type together and also allowing for interesting overlay effects.
This type was a very intuitive build; nothing was overthought, and ugliness was accepted and even embraced when letting the numbers build themselves.
