Picture a vintage concert poster from the 70s with hand-drawn letterforms that practically vibrate off the page. That's the energy Broda brings to the table. Designed by Burntilldead, this display typeface captures the spirit of retro funk with confidence, channeling the visual swagger of mid-century grooves without feeling forced or derivative.

The font's foundation rests on substantial curves and character. You'll find it shines on record cover lettering, where its weight commands attention, and in vintage menu designs where nostalgia isn't just decoration but the whole point. Retro album artwork, DIY concert posters, and groovy branding systems all benefit from what Broda does naturally. Its extrude treatment (available as a separate file) adds a satisfying 3D punch when you need headlines to pop off the surface.

Under the hood, you're getting the full toolkit: uppercase and lowercase letters, numerals, punctuation marks, plus alternates and ligatures for refined detail work. The character set works across multiple languages, supporting English, French, and beyond, so you have flexibility in how you apply it. At larger sizes, the weight of Broda reads as bold and confident, while at text sizes it maintains readability without sacrificing personality. Both the standard and extruded versions come as OTF and TTF files, so you can use them wherever your projects live. Grab it on Creative Fabrica to add real retro character to your work.
