Archie by Canada Type is a geometric display face grounded in Martin Meijer's 1930s Dutch lettering work. This typeface commands attention through bold proportions and crisp letterforms, built for situations where you need type that cuts through visual noise and registers immediately.

The family covers real ground. Three weights arrive in both upright and italic styles, with small caps and biform alternates that expand your typographic options. Most Latin-based alphabets are supported, so international projects stay within reach without extra hunting. The geometry is purposeful: vertical strokes in the upright styles project quiet authority and weight, while the italics layer in motion without losing legibility or clarity. The kerning and spacing feel generous throughout, giving headlines proper breathing room and preventing that cramped feel.

This works beautifully for concert poster headers and event announcement designs, boutique product packaging labels, magazine spread titling and section breaks, and fashion brand identity work. Retro advertising recreations and DIY vintage signage projects also sit naturally within Archie's wheelhouse. The basic family includes six individual fonts, while the Pro versions bundle all uprights or all italics into single files for those building complete typographic systems.
