Annonce by Canada Type is a bold, extended sans-serif rooted in Aurora Grotesk, a 1912 Johannes Wagner foundry classic that dominated large-format printing and signage long before Helvetica or Venus emerged on the typographic scene. The typeface merges geometric clarity with subtle humanistic touches, including angled cuts on select characters, that keep it from reading as purely mechanical. Its generous proportions and striking visual weight command genuine attention in any layout designed to make a strong visual impression and hold a viewer's eye.

This font works beautifully for vintage-inspired brand identity systems, oversized environmental graphics in retail spaces, high-impact editorial layouts and magazine covers, and labels for artisanal or heritage product packaging. The character set is remarkably comprehensive, accommodating Turkish, Baltic, Celtic, Maltese, Esperanto, and Central and Eastern European languages in addition to standard Latin. Available in all popular font formats, Annonce performs with consistency whether you're using it at headline sizes or in smaller display applications. If you're after a typeface with genuine historical roots and the visual presence to ground a strong layout, this one delivers both substance and genuine character. Find Annonce on Creative Fabrica.
