Yapari captures the raw energy of street lettering from Makassar's urban landscape. Created by Power Type Foundry, Yapari translates that gritty city aesthetic into a versatile, multi-weight system.

With nine distinct weights ranging from thin all the way through ultra bold, plus stretched width variations that give you the freedom to compress or expand letterforms as your layout demands, Yapari opens up genuine possibilities for expressive design work. You can push it hard for attention-grabbing headlines or dial it back for more nuanced applications. Music festival posters, skateboard deck graphics, brand identity systems for streetwear labels, and urban poster campaigns all become stronger with Yapari's presence. This typeface handles both formal and informal contexts with equal confidence, bringing character and street-level authenticity to any project that needs visual punch. Band logos, merchandise design, and experimental typography all benefit from this typeface's gritty, unconventional voice.

Pair it with a clean, neutral sans-serif like Helvetica or a modern geometric typeface to balance the display weight and keep running text readable throughout longer passages. This pairing strategy lets you harness Yapari's boldness where it counts most. Grab it on Creative Fabrica and start building designs that feel genuine, raw, and anything but generic.
