Whoomp by Lettertype Studio is a commanding extended sans serif designed for the kind of work that needs to cut through visual clutter. It pairs geometric confidence with an unmistakably urban edge, reading bold and authoritative without ever sacrificing legibility. This is a typeface built for projects that demand both structure and personality. The 10-style family comes loaded with over 200 stylistic alternates, so you can dial in exactly the version of confidence you need.

You'll find Whoomp working beautifully for album artwork and music branding where visual weight matters, tech startup pitches that live or die on first impressions, magazine layouts where type needs to compete with photography, and large-scale environmental graphics like storefront signage and installation work. The extended proportions give your headlines and social media assets genuine breathing room, making letters sit comfortably even at smaller scales. Those stylistic alternates and ligatures let you fine-tune the voice of everything from brand identity systems to packaging design. On top of that, you get multilingual support and both OTF and TTF file formats, so there are no compatibility surprises across different applications or team members.
