Picture yourself designing a wedding invitation suite where the typography needs to capture both elegance and movement at once. WELATTE BRUSH, created by Gatype, is exactly the brush font you'd reach for in that moment. Its natural texture and dramatic letterforms bring genuine character to handwritten-style projects without feeling artificial or overdone.

The font shines across several professional applications: boutique cosmetics packaging, event signage and posters, photography watermarks, and stationery suites for small businesses. Etsy product labels thrive with this textured quality, as do branding materials that need personality. What makes this script stand out is its ability to maintain confidence while staying readable even at smaller sizes, a balance that doesn't come naturally to most brush fonts. Since it uses PUA encoding, you can access all characters directly in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, or even Microsoft Word with no additional software required.

Heavier stroke weights deliver clarity when you scale this font large, making it especially useful for headlines and display work where legibility matters. You'll find this versatile brush script equally at home in print and digital projects, from branded lookbooks to custom packaging design. The natural quality of the letterforms never feels forced or artificial, which keeps the overall aesthetic grounded.
