WEG, designed by Huerta Tipográfica, constructs letterforms from a single continuous line, creating an interconnected visual system that prioritizes investigation over conventional readability. This experimental display typeface explores how glyphs can be deconstructed and recombined to fundamentally alter legibility, with weight variations (Regular, Light, Thin) making each iteration radically different in how readable the text actually becomes as you compare them.

The uppercase character set includes lining figures and basic punctuation available across all three weights. More intriguingly, the lowercase letters function as combinable typographical patterns that each remain connected within the overall system, allowing designers to stack and layer them to build surprising texture and visual complexity in ways most typefaces never allow. Language support extends to Spanish, Guaraní, and English, making the typeface genuinely useful for international design studios.

Art directors planning experimental poster series, boutique record labels designing striking album cover typography, editorial designers creating artist monographs and exhibition catalogs, and studios building gallery installation signage will all appreciate WEG's conceptual rigor. This is type for projects that prioritize visual investigation and abstraction over straightforward communication. Find it on Creative Fabrica.
