You're designing a concert poster for an indie band and need a typeface that feels raw, unpolished, and straight from the gut. Unashamed, from Brittney Murphy Design, is built exactly for this moment. Created through handdrawn brush strokes on paper and then scanned directly into digital, the font preserves every imperfect mark that polished typefaces deliberately erase. That texture isn't an accident; it's the whole aesthetic.

The distressed quality and abrupt character strokes read as genuinely authentic rather than performed or manufactured. You'll find this font works particularly well for concert and festival posters, boutique product packaging, vintage-style brand identities, and DIY zine covers. These are contexts where precision would feel disconnected from the message being sent. The letterforms carry their own distinct variations, making each instance slightly different from the last. That hand-drawn quality creates real texture and personality that catches attention no matter the context or scale.

The font truly shines when used at larger display sizes, where the irregular edges and visible brush strokes become a core part of your visual language instead of appearing like a technical limitation or weakness. Grab Unashamed on Creative Fabrica and let the rough edges become your absolute greatest asset.
