You're designing invitations for a client's vintage-themed wedding and need typography that actually looks like it came from a print shop in the 1950s. Tamaki Letterpress, created by Jadugar Design Studio, is a display typeface built for exactly this kind of work. It ships with eight carefully crafted variations, each hitting a different note in the letterpress aesthetic.

The Tamaki Zero weight offers a clean, round-edged option perfect for headlines and signage, while the remaining variations introduce authentic-looking distressed effects that bring genuine character without feeling forced or overwrought. This makes the font surprisingly versatile across multiple design applications: use it for heritage brand packaging where subtle imperfection adds credibility, vintage poster designs that need historical authenticity, or crafted invitations where distressing conveys the care of a handmade project. It works beautifully for indie coffee roasters creating menu boards and small product labels that compete with mass-produced alternatives through personality and craft.

With round edges on the regular cut, the letterforms read cleanly even at larger sizes, giving you flexibility for both display work and decorative headings. The distressed weights provide options for creating genuine texture without extra design layers. Grab Tamaki Letterpress on Creative Fabrica and add a typeface that actually earns its vintage aesthetic.
