Standard Shaded by Yes Please is a display face that channels the grand scale and character of vintage Woodtype fonts while maintaining a distinctly modern sensibility. Where historical Woodtypes aimed for pure impact through sheer size, this family finds its voice in the marriage of deliberate craftsmanship and clean proportions. That balance makes it work equally well in nostalgic contexts and those that simply want personality with restraint.

The typeface includes a comprehensive set of OpenType ligatures (both standard and discretionary variants) plus stylistic alternates that let you fine-tune how letters interact and behave. A full complement of accents and symbols ensures you're equipped for whatever language or symbol set your project needs. Those details compound into genuine flexibility across vintage whiskey labels and packaging, concert poster art, upscale restaurant menus, and retro-inspired storefront signage. The family scales beautifully across all these contexts without losing its distinctive voice.

Standard Shaded has proven itself on campaigns from IFC and Showtime through to Nike, Target, and Starbucks, and across media spanning print, digital, and motion graphics. That track record speaks to how it handles itself in high-visibility professional work. Get Standard Shaded from Creative Fabrica and put it to work on your next headline-driven project.
