1 / 7About Squarc Font
Squarc is a minimal, modular font. This one really is minimal, all characters are comprised of combinations of just two components – a square and an arc, hence: Squarc.
A minimal typeface, formed from only two components, inevitably has something of a
brutal look – this has to be embraced. The result has a rugged beauty.
Squarc features only one case, lower case – it’s minimal remember. Lower case characters have a rhythm and flow, missing from the more block-like forms of capital letters. And besides, beyond being required for proper nouns and sentence starts, capitals are redundant; so they can go. Capitals in Squarc are denoted by an underlined letter.
