Picture a luxury wedding invitation arriving in a cream envelope: embossed letterpress, paper with real weight, and a typeface that commands attention through restraint rather than noise. Solace, designed by Adam Roe and distributed by MINDCANDY, is a display face built for these kinds of refined moments. The letterforms signal confidence without ever needing aggression.

This typeface thrives in spaces where understatement matters most. Consider premium event invitations, high-end product packaging for skincare or craft brands, editorial book covers and jackets, boutique hotel signage, upscale product labels, and custom stationery that separates a brand from its competition. Solace carries weight and real presence while maintaining a sense of ease on the page. The forms feel intentional, each curve and junction placed with clear purpose.

Display typefaces from 1996 often possess a distinctive character that newer designs have trouble matching. This face was engineered for headline work and genuinely delivers at large display sizes, holding steady presence across the page. From a single refined headline to a complete luxury brand identity, Solace performs with quiet confidence. Find it on Creative Fabrica to add this refined classic to your toolkit.
