This script packs attitude with a modern edge that refuses to whisper. Skate, from DearType, is a multi-weight script family built from five weights plus a bold companion sans, engineered for impact at scale and ready to command space in ways most typefaces won't risk.

The typeface feels right at home on magazine covers and music festival posters, website feature sections, luxury product packaging, and skateboard deck branding. Both the script and sans come loaded with Latin Extended and Cyrillic support, and the script includes ligatures and stylistic alternates that open up expanded design possibilities beyond the base characters. That angular, dynamic character works particularly well for brands aiming at younger, style-conscious audiences who expect typography that takes a genuine stance rather than playing it safe. The edgy forms and kinetic rhythm give it natural appeal for anything connected to music, streetwear, or counter-culture movements where type becomes part of the message itself.

When you're setting body text or smaller copy, pair Skate with a clean, understated sans serif to keep visual hierarchy clear and maintain readability without the text competing for attention. You'll find both typefaces waiting on Creative Fabrica for designers ready to add real edge to their projects.
