This typeface hits that sweet spot between genuinely spooky and undeniably playful. Scream, designed by blushfontco, is a bold display font with melting letterforms that drip down the page like something straight out of a fun horror film from the 80s or 90s.

You'll find it works brilliantly for Halloween party invitations that guests actually save instead of toss, haunted house event signage that stops people mid-trick-or-treat, retro horror movie poster designs complete with that vintage pulp magazine feel, and pumpkin patch promotional materials that catch eyes in a crowded social feed. The dripping effect runs consistently through every letter, giving your text that signature ooze without sacrificing readability, even when scaled down smaller or layered over images and backgrounds. The whole thing has a cartoon quality that keeps it from feeling too serious.

Because the design leans into playful sensibility rather than pure terror, it works equally well for adult costume contests and kid-friendly haunted house attractions. Pair Scream with a neutral sans-serif for any body text or smaller captions you need, and the visual contrast between the two will make your layouts feel more intentional and polished. It's available on Creative Fabrica, ready to add a playful chill to whatever season calls for it.
