Picture a 1970s arcade cabinet or the set of a retro game show. That's the instant visual nostalgia Pricedown delivers. Designed by Typodermic Fonts Inc., it's a modern reinterpretation of Pinto Flare, a bold display face from the early 1970s. The typeface even served as the official logotype for The Price is Right and appeared in classic video games like Tag Team Wrestling.

This typeface brings genuine retro edge to 1970s-inspired poster art, vintage arcade game graphics, retro album cover design, throwback diner signage, and video game branding. The boxy letterforms read solid and confident at large sizes, especially useful when you need that unmistakable era feel without looking ironic or forced. You'll find it equally at home in game show set branding and vintage record store displays where bold, period-accurate type remains non-negotiable.

The fun part: toggle on OpenType ligatures in compatible applications and watch the H automatically tuck a swash tail under a following I, adding subtle personality without forcing it. With nine weights at your disposal, you can dial the impact up or down depending on your project, from bold headlines to supporting text roles. Get Pricedown on Creative Fabrica and bring back the '70s.
