PoultrySign by Ingrimayne Type is a geometric display typeface drawn from 1932 newspaper lettering. The designer discovered those distinctive trapezoidal shapes in old newsprint microfilm and engineered a full typeface around them, capturing the rigid geometry and bold character of early twentieth-century print aesthetics.

What makes PoultrySign special is its built-in interplay. The lowercase reverses the trapezoid angle of the uppercase, so when you alternate between them, you get a visual rhythm that feels almost architectural. Layer different weights on top of each other to create two or three-color effects without swapping fonts. This structural precision makes it ideal for stencil-cut vintage signage, geometric poster campaigns, label and badge design, and decorative graphics where control and impact matter. The typeface includes six styles across two widths with three weights each. You also get OpenType stylistic alternates for numbers and letter variations on T, N, L, Y, and lowercase V, giving you multiple ways to customize individual characters.

This is the typeface for retro restaurant menus, art deco branding work, display headlines with real teeth, and any project calling for the kind of mechanical geometry that stops viewers. Find it on Creative Fabrica and start exploring its layering possibilities.
