Picual feels like it was drawn by hand over morning coffee, with just the right amount of quirk to feel genuinely crafted without trying too hard. Designed by Juri Zaech, this sans serif marries geometric precision with purposeful imprecision, creating a typeface that reads as authentically warm and human rather than corporate or stiff.

The character comes from its distinctive angled terminals and softly hexagonal curves, which give Picual genuine appeal for artisanal food packaging, farmers market labels and signage, craft brewery identity systems, and eco-friendly beauty product boxes. It speaks naturally to brands that don't need to shout. You get four weights and three widths for building clear visual hierarchies, plus a variable font option that lets you interpolate across all weights and widths in one flexible file. Support extends to over 200 Latin languages, and the OpenType features include stylistic alternates for several key characters, circled numbers, automatic fractions, and a discretionary Th ligature for precise typographic control.

Pair Picual's display personality with a neutral sans serif for body text, letting the typeface take the spotlight where it matters most. Grab it on Creative Fabrica and see how a typeface with real character can anchor your next project.
