Picture yourself designing the visual identity for a modern tech startup or boutique wellness brand, searching for type that communicates contemporary values without feeling cold or overly corporate. OBOE, created by Pablo Balcells at Graviton in 2012, delivers that balance through its geometric rounded forms. The typeface feels intentional and grounded, built from clean curves and consistent proportions that read smoothly across a range of sizes and applications.

This display family performs beautifully on modern skincare product packaging, tech app interface headers, Instagram cover designs, podcast artwork, and event signage for brands with a design-forward visual aesthetic. The rounded geometry maintains strong legibility at display sizes and holds its character when scaled down for secondary applications like captions or labels. What makes this typeface particularly useful is the six-style range spanning different weights, with two available as free downloads to start exploring the possibilities.

The full weight range gives you flexibility to manage visual hierarchy across applications, from brand guidebooks and printed collateral to digital projects and social media content. Each weight maintains the same friendly, rounded character at any size, which makes consistent branding much easier across different applications. Find OBOE on Creative Fabrica and explore how those styles can unite your next design identity or branding initiative.
