Nove by FSD is a geometric display typeface rooted in the visual language of vintage cinema. Created for a 2011 Nike advertising campaign, this font draws its distinctive character directly from the bold, exaggerated letterforms found in B-movie lobby cards and low-budget film posters from the 1960s and 70s. The clean geometric lines deliver a refined and confident interpretation of retro typography that works just as well in contemporary design as it does evoking pure nostalgia and visual period flavor.

The typeface excels when projects demand personality combined with structural confidence and real visual authority. Energy drink cans, movie festival programs, comic book lettering, and podcast cover artwork all benefit from Nove's commanding visual presence and distinctive typographic character. Designers consistently reach for it in display work where readability matters as much as visual impact and real stopping power, and the geometric construction keeps letterforms legible even at larger sizes or when viewed from a distance. The style carries enough attitude and real edge to cut through visual noise without requiring layered effects or additional embellishment.

Pick up Nove on Creative Fabrica and add a typeface that genuinely balances retro personality with modern sensibility.
