You're designing a wedding invitation suite with a retro edge, and you want something that bridges modern sensibility with vintage charm. Loubag, created by Creative Media Lab, does exactly that. This display typeface blends modern sans serif and serif characteristics with a distinctly retro flavor that feels contemporary rather than dated.

Nine weights span from thin to black, plus a variable version if you want to dial the weight continuously across your projects. Support for multiple language regions (Western Europe, Central/Eastern Europe, Baltic, Turkish, and Romanian) along with currency symbols makes Loubag useful for international projects. Glyph alternates are available as well, accessible through the Glyphs panel in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop if you want subtle character variations.

This versatility shines for wedding invitation suites, boutique magazine layouts, vintage poster designs, and retro branding systems for small businesses. At large display sizes, the typeface reads with real character and strong presence, while in smaller applications, it stays highly readable without sacrificing personality. With all those weights at hand, you can create visual hierarchy without switching typefaces, mixing thin headlines with black accents in a single cohesive layout. Grab Loubag on Creative Fabrica and begin experimenting with the retro-modern aesthetic.
