Kometa hits that rare balance between mechanical precision and human warmth. Designed by Kiril Zlatkov Type Foundry, this contemporary geometric typeface carries serious visual authority without feeling sterile or corporate. The skeleton is cleanly ordered, but the carefully drawn letterforms bring genuine character that makes it equally powerful for headlines and for the foundational work of building cohesive brand systems.

What sets Kometa apart is the thoughtfulness built into every detail. You get six numeral styles to choose from, a full range of alternates, and extensive OpenType features that let you tune everything from ligatures to language support. The true italics are genuinely useful (not just slanted versions), and the Kometa Unicase variant opens up another creative direction altogether. These aren't cosmetic additions; they're tools that solve real problems in poster design, luxury wine labels, editorial mastheads, and multilingual corporate branding.

Cyrillics are built in as well, which means you can create graphically consistent work across European and Russian-speaking markets without hunting for workarounds. Pair Kometa with a quieter sans-serif for body text, and you'll create a hierarchy that feels intentional. You'll find it on Creative Fabrica, ready to anchor your next ambitious project.
