Kietan, designed by Meidy Therik, draws its character from chunky, rounded letterforms that carry warmth and personality. The typeface softens bold shapes into curves that feel inviting rather than harsh, making it ideal for projects that need visual punch without losing approachability.

What sets Kietan apart is its pair of complementary styles. The Regular version delivers clean, controlled letterforms for headlines and branding, while the Inkbleed style adds an organic, hand-printed texture that mimics the slight imperfections of screen printing. This flexibility means you can work in single-style consistency or blend both for layered visual interest. The font includes alternates, ligatures, and broad language support, so you're covered for international projects and stylistic variation.

Kietan shines in artisan food packaging labels, street cart menus, craft bakery signage, and specialty beverage labels where personality matters as much as legibility. It's equally at home on café menu covers, playful social media campaigns, and restaurant logo suites where type feels personal and handmade. If you're designing for independent food businesses, artisanal makers, or creative retail spaces, Kietan belongs in your toolkit.
