Picture a poster for an underground music festival, with the event name flowing across the paper in one unbroken line per letter. That's Kelso, a display typeface by Talbot Type, designed with the kind of fluidity that somehow feels both modern and genuinely pleasant. Each character is built as a single continuous outline, creating a visual rhythm that draws the eye while making every letterform feel like it has its own personality.

This outline approach shines across real applications: indie album covers, festival posters, wedding invitation suites, and art exhibition materials all benefit from Kelso's blend of clarity and character. The construction lends itself to bold, headline-scale work where you want each letter to read as distinct without becoming difficult to parse. At display sizes, the typeface keeps its fluidity and hand-drawn warmth while staying readable, which sets it apart from the stiff precision of most geometric fonts. There's a considered quality to the letterforms, not a mechanical one.

Kelso genuinely works at any large size you use it, where the continuous-line construction shifts from a technical detail into an actual design asset. The outline style holds up beautifully across whatever scale you choose. Find it on Creative Fabrica and add a typeface with real substance to your toolkit.
