Irena by Hanoded is a geometric display font that draws from cubist and expressionist traditions in typography. The design channels the bold, angular precision that Vojtěch Preissig brought to Czech printmaking and graphic design in the early 20th century, filtering it through a contemporary approach that keeps letterforms readable despite the sharp geometry and strict angles.

This typeface works beautifully when you need characters with real presence and visual weight. Look to it for book cover design on literary fiction and art history titles, vintage poster layouts, editorial spreads in art and culture publications, wine and spirits packaging for boutique brands, and anywhere a distinctive typographic voice strengthens the overall aesthetic. Angular construction gives logos and website headers a sharp, deliberate personality that rounder, softer typefaces simply can't provide. Where many geometric fonts force you to choose between readability and distinctive style, Irena handles both without sacrifice, staying legible at display sizes while keeping its angular personality front and center.

With extensive language support built in, the font works across international projects without character gaps holding you back. Get Irena on Creative Fabrica and bring this bold geometric display typeface into your toolkit.
