You're designing skateboard deck graphics for a streetwear label, and you need type that feels sharp and stripped down. Frank, an uppercase-only sans serif by Great Scott, delivers exactly that kind of bold, geometric impact. Its squarish letterforms borrow from the legacy of DIN, Eurostile, and Futura, cutting through visual noise with a kind of architectural confidence that brands use to build immediate recognition.

This typeface excels wherever compact, commanding typography matters most. Athletic brands reach for it on gear logos and team merchandise labels. Skateboard and surf companies use it for deck graphics and sticker designs. Sports event posters benefit from its stark, high-impact readability, and streetwear labels often tap it for packaging and hang tags that need to grab attention fast without feeling overly decorative or soft.

The 2.0 update in 2017 brought multiple weights and styles to the family, opening up real flexibility within that tightly controlled aesthetic language. You can push boldness up or down depending on what your layout demands. Frank reads with maximum impact at large display sizes, which is right where the typeface was built to live and perform. Grab it from Creative Fabrica and add some geometric sharpness and punch to your next project.
