This is a font with serious geometric presence and personality to spare. DROOG, designed by Device, is a rounded typeface that's pierced with carefully placed circular holes throughout its letterforms. Rather than feeling like a flaw, some of these holes actually step in as the letters' counters, giving the whole face a distinctive, slightly surreal quality that demands larger sizes and shorter text runs to work its full potential.

The unusual perforated design brings a playful, modern sensibility to projects that need visual punch. It works beautifully across indie record packaging and album artwork, retro-futuristic restaurant menus and artisanal noodle shop signage, underground music venue posters and event flyers, plus small-batch candy and snack packaging where an edge of geometric humor matters. Comic book covers and boutique pet store branding also shine with this typeface's visual energy. Because DROOG is so visually active and demanding, restraint in how you layer it into your designs really pays dividends.

Pair DROOG with a clean, legible sans-serif for body text to anchor the visual hierarchy and keep balance. Look for it on Creative Fabrica, where you can start exploring how its distinctive perforations can add character to your next headline-driven project.
