DISTANT CLOUD, created by Pizzadude.dk, is built entirely by hand from the ground up. Every element carries genuine traces of the design process, from the letterforms themselves down to the thousands of individual dots, meticulously placed rather than generated. This tactile approach gives the typeface a slightly imperfect warmth that feels honest and distinctly human-made.

The font ships with two distinct letter sets so you can swap between uppercase and lowercase to avoid repetition when words contain doubled or similar letters. A three-layer structure is built in, letting you stack and colorize the components for custom depth and dimensional effects. This flexibility means the typeface adapts to your needs rather than forcing a single look on every project. Despite its handcrafted character, Distant Cloud remains legible enough to read comfortably in actual use, making it surprisingly versatile for different applications and mediums.

The typeface excels at handmade-feeling greeting cards, small-batch product labels and packaging, event invitations with genuine character, and logo concepts that need authentic warmth and personality. Anyone working on projects that benefit from real imperfection and organic texture rather than clinical precision will find this genuinely useful.
