This typeface carries a worn, industrious energy. COLDSMITH PRO, created by Aerotype, channels the aesthetic of hand-lettered signs weathered by time, yet stays legible and bold enough for real impact.

The technical sophistication is what sets it apart from basic distressed fonts. Built as a full OpenType font, it includes 52 ligature features that activate automatically when you type the same letter twice in a row, substituting a unique pair of distressed characters in place. No hunting for alternates or manual glyph swaps, the substitution just happens. Support extends to Eastern European Latin, Baltic, Greek, and Turkish, making it genuinely useful for regional branding and multilingual campaigns where you need visual consistency across different language sets. That scope opens possibilities for vintage concert posters, craft beer labels, rustic event signage, artisanal product packaging, and DIY branding work where a bit of visual wear actually strengthens the story.

Pair it with a crisp geometric sans-serif for body text to let COLDSMITH PRO do its display work without overwhelming longer copy. You'll find it on Creative Fabrica, ready to add character and grit to whatever you're building.
