Cheeky Monkey by Comicraft is a display typeface built on genuine personality and spirited charm. Created over 18 years ago by Nina Green in collaboration with Richard Starkings, this typeface has earned its place on the covers of beloved comics like Captain Britain, Doctor Who, and Darkman. Its lively, impish character makes it the natural choice for designers tackling projects where warmth and approachability matter far more than formal restraint or corporate convention. Comic book covers and graphic novel lettering are where this font feels most truly at home.

The typeface works across children's book covers, quirky product packaging, and greeting card designs that need to feel authentically handmade and warm. Indie creators and small studios gravitate toward typefaces like this for poster art, merchandise graphics, sticker designs, and product labels, where authentic personality reads as genuine strength and creative choice. The font brings a conversational warmth to any project that benefits from looking refreshingly unbuttoned and genuinely human rather than polished or overly corporate. Whether it's informal signage for boutiques, hand-lettered branding work, or small-batch product design, this typeface communicates approachability and creative spirit. Pick up Cheeky Monkey on Creative Fabrica and bring some authentic character to your next project.
